Joseph Selim, born and raised in Ohio and now living in Florida, is a teacher and lifelong storyteller with a deep love for fantasy fiction.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Criminology with a minor in Arabic from the University of Texas at Arlington, where he was inducted into the Criminology Honors Society and founded Orthodox Christian Campus Ministries (OCCM).
He later completed his master’s degree in Education from the University of Phoenix. A former collegiate gymnast and Eagle Scout, he has dedicated over fifteen years to teaching, serving, and carrying out missionary work in the United States and Mexico. The Throne of Emptiness is his debut novel, inspired by faith, family, travel, music, and a lifelong commitment to courage and compassion.
